In September 2006 Tobi completed the MA Digital Effects course at the most highly regarded institution in the United Kingdom in the field of Media Practice, Bournemouth Media School. The Digital Effects programme is run jointly with the National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA) at Bournemouth University and is an intense 1-year programme covering both the 2D and 3D aspects of Visual Effects, as well as practical effects acquisition. The practical aspects of the course are complemented by a strong theoretical teaching component.
During his time at Bournemouth University Tobi has built a strong foundation in the field of digital compositing and post production. He has worked on a multitude of projects, both live action projects, computer graphics (CG) projects, and a combination thereof, using industry standard compositing software Apple Shake.
Tobi graduated from Bournemouth University in November 2006 and was awarded an MA in Digital Effects with Merit.
Tobi's undergraduate studies were focussed on Multimedia Technology & Design at the University of Kent at Canterbury. This 4-year degree programme covered a very wide area of media design, ranging from computer programming to video and graphic design, interactive systems, video editing, compositing and 3D animation. The course involved spending the third year working in the industry, during which time Tobi and a few of his colleagues founded Think Tank Publishing (now Think Media Group).
Tobi graduated from the University of Kent at a ceremony held in July 2005 and was awarded a BSc in Multimedia Technology & Design with First Class Honours.
