Portfolio Architectural Projects Valladolid AVE

Valladolid AVE

Description

Working in Madrid during 2008, Tobi worked with the architectural team of the local RSHP office to complete this visualisation of the major transformations outlined in the Valladolid AVE masterplan, a proposal to regenerate the city of Valladolid by putting the high speed rail tracks running right through the heart of the city underground, thereby enabling the city to be reconnected.

The video, projected through a 4meter * 2meter physical model of the masterplan area and its proposed buildings, went on public exhibition in the main square of Valladolid in an attempt to educate the public about the project. After the exhibition in Valladolid, the model joined the Richard Rogers + Architects exhibition in Madrid and Barcelona.
